Buckle up for another big weekend of high-speed racing at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) as NASCAR returns for a seventh consecutive year with NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series action March 5-7, as announced Wednesday morning.

On-track action opens on Friday, March 5, before the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race takes center stage on Saturday, March 6. The weekend culminates with the marquee DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix Powered by RelaDyne Cup Series race on Sunday, March 7.

The drivers will race around the 17-turn, 2.4-mile National Course, which made its debut in March 2025. Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing made history at COTA in March, becoming the first driver to win the opening three Cup Series races of a season. The driver of the No. 45 Toyota Camry narrowly defeated road-course master Shane van Gisbergen of Trackhouse Racing, who claimed the checkered flag in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race earlier in the weekend.

NASCAR at COTA continues to attract fans from around the world, with visitors traveling from 47 states and 10 countries for the 2026 race weekend. The stop on the circuit marks the third race of the year and the first of two in Texas. NASCAR’s second stop in the Lone Star State comes later in the spring at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

“The popularity of NASCAR continues to grow in the Austin region and we’re excited to be back at Circuit of the Americas for a seventh straight year,” NASCAR at COTA General Manager Mark Faber said. “Our team is working extremely hard behind the scenes to put together another memorable and entertaining event weekend for the fans at COTA.”

Individual race tickets, weekend packages and camping options are available now at NASCARatCOTA.com. Family affordability remains a priority for NASCAR at COTA as tickets for children 12 and under start as low as $10 for Sunday’s DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix Powered by RelaDyne and are free on Friday and Saturday (ticketed adult required for all three days). The weekend will also feature the ever-popular Fan Zone that includes a variety of entertainment acts, NASCAR driver appearances and activities.

Race start times, television broadcast partners, any additional support series races and full on-track schedule will be announced at a later date.
